Rent Supplement
Rent supplement is available to individuals who have been residing in private rented accommodation or a homeless shelter for the past six months (out of the previous twelve). Alternatively, one may qualify should you have been placed on a social housing list by the local authority. An applicant for this supplement must also pass a means-test.
